We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of English to join our committed and supportive team at The Newbridge School. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher at the beginning of their career to develop their practice within a nurturing and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across the curriculum, inspiring students to develop a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, pastoral teams, and wider professionals to support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their full potential. This role is ideal for an individual who demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to raising achievement in English.
As part of your role, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and contribute to interventions that support learners of all abilities, including those with additional needs. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, building confidence, and fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
