Cover Supervisor
Location: Greenstone Primary School
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 Hours per week
Working Weeks: Term time plus 1 (39 weeks)
Salary: Grade 7 (£26,832 - £28,146) (Actual Salary £20,166)
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational candidate to join our team at Greenstone Primary School.
We are looking for someone to work under the guidance of SLT to facilitate cover for planned and unplanned absence of teachers and support staff within the agreed system of supervision.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team responsible for facilitating the cover set by absent teachers and will need to work flexibly. They will be able to effectively manage classes in terms of behaviour and promote an environment for learning that supports the progress of pupils. The role is an excellent opportunity for candidates wishing to develop classroom pedagogy before embarking on teacher training.
