LSEC is committed to driving up academic standards and achieving outstanding levels of performance. We are looking for a dedicated member to join our team and support our operational and strategic priorities.
The post holder will work collaboratively with other quality team members to support the Colleges operational and strategic priorities, aiming to enhance academic standards and achieve the levels of performance required in an outstanding organisation. This role involves liaising with senior leaders and managers to ensure that quality systems and processes are robust, fit for purpose, and adhered to. The post holder will advise on changes and their implementation, providing training to enable the curriculum to achieve full compliance with internal and external requirements.
In addition, the post holder will support with curriculum and awarding organisation qualification approval processes. They will investigate any quality issues, appeals, and alleged malpractice or maladministration, liaising with awarding organisations and internal stakeholders to resolve such issues.
Furthermore, the post holder will maintain accurate knowledge of quality initiatives, including developments within the Ofsted, Ofqual, and JCQ frameworks. They will communicate these updates to the wider college, helping to develop CPD and information exchange within the quality team.
The post holder will be the quality link for our sub-contracted provision in addition to other named vocational areas.
