Learning without Limits is a Trust with high ambitions for its learners and we are excited to be appointing a Trust Procurement Officer to help us on our journey. This role will be key to delivering an exceptional and compliant procurement service that adds value and provides efficiencies through Trust wide procurement opportunities.
To be successful in this post you will bring with you a proven track record in procurement, ideally in an education context, and have a high level of emotional intelligence and professional curiosity to provide an exemplary procurement service.
This role is suited to a procurement professional looking to further develop their specialism and to grow in post as the role develops over time.
You will be based at our central office located at Lancaster Academy with a requirement to travel to the Academies within the Trust, working onsite, as required. An integral part of our central team, you will be working alongside a variety of people in a fast paced but supportive environment and will demonstrate a willingness to go over and above in support of your colleagues.

You will:
• Have at least 2 years experience working in a similar role, ideally in education
• Hold, or be working towards, a Level 4 CIPS qualification
• Have experience of managing multiple and concurrent procurement projects, ranging from lower value contracts to those over PCR2015 threshold
• Have up to date working knowledge of current Procurement Law and Regulations
• Have an understanding of working in accordance with the Academy Financial Handbook
• Have working experience of successful contract award through frameworks and inhouse processes
• Have the ability to support staff with procurement matters in accordance with Trust policy and procedures and wider procurement regulations
• Be solution focused and proactive; willing to seek out new ways of working
• Have strong IT skills and confidence to use cloud-based software systems efficiently and effectively
