Sat in an idyllic location with green space all around, Lyne and Longcross C of E (Aided) Primary is a school on the outskirts of Lyne Village. Upon arrival you will quickly see what a caring and thoughtful cohort of children we have, supported by dedicated and passionate staff.
Our school was re built in 2015 to accommodate our expansion from a one form entry infant school to a one form entry primary school. We are fortunate to have modern and attractive facilities, which house a vibrant learning environment for our children. Our school is set within beautiful grounds and we have a commitment to fully utilise them for the benefit of our children. Outdoor learning is a key part of our curriculum. Part of our outdoor learning provision is Forest School and our children across all age groups have regular Forest School sessions.
As a Church of England school, we value every individual and are inclusive in our approach. We welcome pupils of other denominations and faiths and to those of no particular faith. Our aim is to nurture Christian faith in children and to encourage those of other faiths and those of no faith to embrace our school values in their lives. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented, friendly and supportive team who enjoy their work and strive to provide the best opportunities for the children.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Collaborative working within our shared family of schools to support our endeavours to work smarter and achieve an effective balance between home and work.
Potential candidates are warmly invited to visit the school or to contact the headteacher for an informal conversation. Please contact the school office to arrange this.
