Louisa Dormer - Executive Head Teacher

In October 2022, Merrow Infant School and Merrow Junior School (formerly Bushy Hill Junior School) formally federated. The two schools within Merrow Schools Federation now share an executive headteacher, a leadership team and a Governing Body. By strengthening the collaboration through the formal process of a Federation, the children, staff and families associated with both schools now experience a greater range of opportunities, including:

• a consistent approach to curriculum provision, to enhance the learning experience from Reception to Year 6;
• a smooth transition for our children as they move from Infants to Juniors and
• shared best practice and expertise, to ensure consistently high standards of teaching.

We believe that Merrow Schools Federation gives you the best of both worlds: separate schools with specific and specialist focus on Infant and Junior education, with the added benefits of a larger federation and a whole through school experience.
