Our vision for NWSSSS is to be a trend setter, take risks with new initiatives, lead the way in the teaching & learning and be a hub of excellence; where we are able to influence the national agenda by demonstrating that the all students of North West Surrey (and beyond) can make progress, alter their attitudes and behaviours so that they can function in society.

We are a Pupil Referral Unit serving Woking, Runnymead and Surrey Heath for learners, aged 11-16, who have experienced difficultly in maintaining a place in mainstream education.

Our team of highly professional and dedicated staff work in partnership with parents, partner schools, the LA, the Management Committee and health agencies in order to support each student to achieve their full potential.

We provide a range of programmes that are tailored to meet the needs of each individual student.  In partnership with PIXL we ensure every students follows 'The Edge' Programme, where learners develop the key attributes of Leadership, Organisation, Resilliance, Independence and Communication.  At KS4, alongside The Edge, the students study for GCSE Maths, English and Art with an additional qualification of NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Sport.

At NWSSSS, we enable the students to understand their barriers to learning and assist them to reintegrate back into a suitable education setting.
