At KS4 the students study for GCSE Maths, English, Science, PE, History and Art; we also provide a large range of pastoral programmes that are tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. At KS3 the students follow a broad curriculum that allows them to be prepared for the next step on their educational pathway.
At NWSSSS, we enable the students to understand their barriers to learning and assist them to reintegrate back into a suitable education setting.
The successful candidate should be an outstanding practitioner in order to support the development of the students at NWSSSS. We will consider any subject specialism but all staff are expected to teach in at least two subject areas and the ability to teach Maths would be useful but not essential.
Any applicant will have the ability to understand what it takes to help a vulnerable learner progress both in a pastoral manner and academically.
The successful candidate will understand the challenges facing young people in the world today and will have the vision to support teaching and learning move to the next level. You will motivate students, engage parents and raise student’s aspiration in order to provide them with best opportunities and outcomes.
NWSSSS is in an exciting time in its development, we have recently joined the Bourne Academy Trust as a 'Partner Member' and are making strong links through this work. There are many opportunities for CPD and career progression.
