Hours: 8.30am - 3.00pm (CPD session every Tuesday till 4.30pm) Term Time only plus Inset Days
Actual £17,403 (FTE £24,275)
North West Surrey Short Stay School are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic LSA who is able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of education and pupil progress in order to raise pupil achievement, progress and support their reintegration towards their appropriate pathway.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you can form effective relationships with young people and enjoy working with them. Have a commitment to working as part of a team to support the development and potential of students of all abilities. Can motivate and inspire pupils to learn. Are calm and can maintain a sense of humour under pressure.
NWSSSS is a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) across two sites, Pyrford and Kingsway, serving Woking, Runnymede and Surrey Heath for learners, aged 11 - 16, who have had difficulty in maintaining a place in mainstream education. The successful candidate would work across both sites.
