Administration Officer Level 3 & Clerk to Governors

(30 hours per week, Term Time 39 weeks + Clerk to Governors Allowance)

Due to the retirement of our existing School Administration Officer, the Governing Body of St Joseph’s Junior School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised person to manage a busy school office. Additionally, we require the successful candidate to undertake the role of Clerk to Governors.

We are looking for a highly motivated person who can demonstrate well developed administrative, ICT and communication skills. The successful candidate will be the first point of call for anyone contacting or visiting the school. Excellent people skills are essential, as well as a professional manner.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and be able to adapt to a wide range of tasks. Previous experience of a similar role, or of working in a school, will be an advantage. Experience of SIMS, iTrent, Citrus, Microsoft Office, Parent Pay and Oracle would also be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

               £16,996 - £18,167 (actual) + Clerk to Govs Honorarium
