About Us

Nythe primary school is a lively and happy school which is valued and well supported by our community. We became and academy on 1st February 2020 and are proud to be part of Excalibur Academies Trust.

As a one form entry primary school with our own nursery, we benefit from the virtues of a small school and are able to focus on the needs of each individual child and family. We offer children aged 2 to 11 the opportunity to play and learn in a caring environment based on mutual respect and the nurturing of a positive self-image. We have high expectations of our children and we are very proud of their achievements. We value the whole child and, as well as their academic skills, seek to develop a strong sense of responsibility for their behaviour and a respect for others.

Safe Sparrow - I keep myself and others safe.

Friendly Falcon - I am a good friend.

Confident Cuckoo - I embrace change.

Our Vision

At Nythe Primary School, our vision is to be a learning hub for our community, seeking to enable children to love to learn and learn to love in a nurturing and challenging environment.

Mission Statement

Our school is a learning community that seeks to enable all of our children to achieve their academic, physical, social, moral and spiritual potential. Our school is a place of safety and support, which offers a curriculum that is challenging, stimulating and fun. We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers, as well as a range of other organisations and support services, to ensure that our children and families receive the best experience possible throughout their time with us.
