Fairfield High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented full time teacher of Spanish to join a successful and dynamic Languages Department at Fairfield High School.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Spanish at KS4 level. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, highly motivated, innovative, and have the passion to help drive the department forward making Spanish an exciting subject.
Experience of current GCSE speaking exams and marking essential.
Currently the department teaches French, German, Arabic and Spanish to KS4 and additionally offers Italian at KS3.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
• An ability to teach Spanish to KS4
• Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
• Excellent organisational skills
• An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
• An ability to promote the importance of language learning
• An ability to teach French is desirable but not essential. The ability to offer a second language would be desirable

Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status. NQT’s are welcome to apply.
The successful candidate needs to be familiar with the GCSE course. Candidates must have a good degree and have QTS.
