Overview

BE PART OF THE OAKS PARK HIGH SUCCESS STORY

Oaks Park High is a rapidly improving secondary school set in extensive grounds in the London Borough of Sutton. The school has recently been rated GOOD by Ofsted:

"This is a welcoming school. Pupils are happy here. They speak positively about how much the school has improved over time. Staff have high expectations of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Most pupils achieve well."

The school is part of the Cheam Academies Network Trust which is committed to promoting the highest standards of local education.

You will be joining a team of brilliant people who are passionate about helping our students thrive and achieve the very best they can. Every member of staff - from our friendly receptionists to the dedicated leadership team - works tirelessly to support our students, their families and their colleagues.

The leadership team has put in place a substantial professional development programme to encourage staff to flourish and progress. This includes a bespoke teaching and learning package, the support of a specialist mentoring and coaching group, and opportunities for cross-Trust department collaboration. Additionally all staff are supported by a wellbeing team which actively seeks opportunities to improve staff experience and offer support if needed.

Leaders consider staff workload and wellbeing. Staff feel supported and appreciate the training opportunities provided, including those offered by the Trust.

The school is expanding its Year 7 intake again in September 2024 and is excited to be able to offer a range of teaching and support staff vacancies, to ensure we have the best possible infrastructure in place for our students to support this expansion.

Our school is situated in Carshalton, a short walk from Carshalton Beeches train station, 30 minutes from London Victoria by train and served by Bus routes from Sutton, Croydon and Morden.

Our journey, as part of a very successful Trust, continues to present great benefits for students and staff alike and we look forward to receiving your application.
