This role may be particularly of interest if you have skills in the areas of children with Special Educational Needs, human resources, data or risk management, but we invite applications from anyone who is interested in helping the school be the best it can be. Full training is available and governors will be encouraged to attend regular training sessions, either in person or online.
We are looking for someone who can attend approximately three full governing body meetings per year. Meetings are held in school, usually from around 6pm to 8pm. Governors also spend time in school during the day (around one visits per term) so need to consider this.
You must be 18 or over to apply and all governors must have Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. Please see the Recruitment Pack for further information and an application form.
