Trust Estates Manager
Salary £47,181 - £50,269 per annum, Full time, permanent

We are looking for an experienced estates professional who combines strong technical expertise, leadership and communication skills, to lead our Estates team as Trust Estates Manager.
In this role, you will be part of our central team, working closely with school leadership and site teams to deliver a high-quality responsive estates service, leading and delivering estate and facilities services, ensuring all health & safety legislation and statutory requirements are met. Working with Site Managers, you will take responsibility for the development and delivery of strong estate management routines and robust processes across our five sites.
You will also inform and lead the delivery of, the estates strategy balancing operational need with long term sustainability; truly shaping our learning environments by understanding the link with educational outcomes.
This is a full time, year round role based on site at our central trust office with travel to our schools as required.

About you
As a small trust, we are looking for a strategic leader willing to be hands-on when necessary, who is passionate about creating safe, compliant and inspiring learning environments to high standards.
You will therefore have a proven track record in facilities management, and a strong knowledge of building compliance, planned maintenance and capital project delivery.
Excellent communication skills are critical, with the ability to build trust and influence a range of stakeholders across the organisation, to provide expert guidance on everything from day-to-day maintenance issues to strategic estate planning.
In this role, you will need to thrive in complex environments; manage multiple streams of work from conducting technical building surveys, budget management, people management and representing the Trust.
