Olchfa is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of Humanities to join our dedicated Humanities learning area at an outstanding school. At Olchfa, we actively encourage collaborative working and an interest in innovative teaching practices. Our focus on pedagogy and ethos enables our pupils to engage in the best learning experiences and achieve their full potential.

Olchfa’s success is reflected in our pupils’ achievements, their enthusiasm for extra-curricular experiences and in their positive attitudes to learning. We work hard to promote an ethos of mutual respect and celebrate positive and enriching environments. Learning, achievement and ‘whole-person’ development is at the centre of all we do.

We welcome applications from teachers with all levels of experience. Applicants will have excellent subject knowledge (History would be desirable, but not essential) and a passion for teaching. They will also be committed to achieving excellence and be ready to support the school’s vision. In return, we are committed to ensuring all our teachers are supported in their ongoing professional learning and development through collaborative training and a strong team ethos.

Some of the benefits of working at Olchfa include: Free on-site parking; heavily subsidised use of our Calon Fitness Suite; Subsidised Private Health Care; and on-going CPD opportunities. We welcome visits from prospective applicants; if this is something you would like to do, please contact the school to make those arrangements.
