The Role
Abbeywood Community School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed part-time Maths Teacher to join our vibrant and dedicated Mathematics department. This permanent position is offered at 0.6 FTE to full time, starting on 1st September 2026.
For a candidate with appropriate skills and experience, there could be the opportunity to become our Axiom Maths Champion, which comes with an additional payment of £1,400. If successful you will play a key role in supporting high prior attaining disadvantaged pupils to enable them to achieve at least in line with their peers through leading an additional enrichment programme through Axiom. Teachers in the first five years of their career will be eligible for targeted retention incentive payments at Abbeywood (Education Investment Area) for their first 5 years of teaching.
