What is the role?

Callicroft Primary Academy are looking for a Caretaker to join our team from October 2022. The working hours for this role are 37 Hours per week on a split shift - 06:30 - 09:30 and 14:00 - 18:30 Monday to Friday (one day a week will be an early finish agreed weekly depending on workload each week).  The Caretaker, under the supervision of the Health, Safety and Premises Compliance Officer, will work closely with the Business Manager and School Leadership Team to carry out a full range of duties to provide for the security, health and safety and day to day maintenance of schools within the Olympus Academy Trust. 

The Candidate will require no formal qualifications but some previous knowledge and experience of relevant health and safety procedures, operation of cleaning equipment and cleaning materials is desirable. A good standard of basic DIY skills is required including decorating techniques.
