Position: Curriculum Team Leader – Science

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Pay Scale: MPS/UPS + TLR F (£12,520)

Start Date: September 2026

Lyde Green Community School opens in September 2026, and we’re looking for an exceptional Science specialist to lead our founding Science department. In this role, you’ll shape the curriculum, establish systems, and inspire a love of scientific discovery from day one.

This is a rare opportunity to design and deliver a knowledge-rich Science curriculum in a brand-new school, with the freedom to innovate and the support of a forward-thinking Trust. As the school grows, your leadership responsibilities will expand, offering clear pathways for career progression.

What you’ll lead:

• Development of a high-quality Science curriculum aligned with our vision and values

• Establishing departmental systems, policies, and expectations

• Recruitment, induction, and development of Science teaching staff

• Delivery of outstanding Science teaching and learning

• Contribution to whole-school strategy and culture
