ROLE:     Finance Officer – Central Team

HOURS:  37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time plus inset days plus 3 weeks

SALARY: Grade 9 starting salary £27,334 per annum (£25,314 pro-rata)

Description:

We are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Officer to join the Olympus Central team on a permanent basis. You will contribute to ensuring that public funds are used appropriately to help to improve outcomes for all learners. The primary role of the Finance Officer is to provide pro-active and professional support to both central and school based finance teams

The successful candidate will provide financial support services to schools across the Trust including timely coding and payment of both sales and purchase invoices, assisting with budget holder queries and analysis of accounts as required. The role will include supervision of finance staff within the central team.

The successful candidate should hold Level 4 AAT or higher or be working towards an appropriate accounting qualification. Training and development opportunities will also be available for the right candidate.
