Lunchbreak Supervisor

Pay Scale: Grade 13 £25,614 per annum FTE (£5,801 pro rata)

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Lunchbreak Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive environment for students during the lunchtime period.

Working as part of the premises team, you will supervise students in dining and social areas, encourage positive behaviour and help ensure that lunchtime is a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch breaks in designated indoor and outdoor areas.

• Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.

• Encourage respectful interactions between students and support an inclusive environment.

• Monitor student welfare and respond appropriately to concerns or incidents.

• Support the safe movement of students around the school site.

• Assist in maintaining a calm and orderly dining environment.

• Record and report incidents, accidents or concerns to appropriate staff.

• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to uphold high standards of behaviour and wellbeing.

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Previous experience of working with young people or in an educational environment would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided.
