Lyde Green Community School opens in September 2026, and we’re looking for a highly organised, people focused Office Manager to help establish the operational backbone of our new school.

This is a key role in shaping how our school runs day to day. In the early years, the role will be varied and hands on, as we grow. You will lead reception and first aid provision, build strong admin systems, and ensure families and visitors experience a calm, professional welcome.

As the school expands year on year, systems will become more established and responsibilities will evolve into clearer roles across the administration team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day to day running of the school office, including reception and first aid provision

• Set up and embed admin systems and processes for a new and growing school

• Oversee visitor procedures and office safeguarding routines

• Engage parents and families through welcoming communication and responsive support

• Maintain accurate records on Arbor and support safeguarding administration

• Coordinate administration for key school events

• Line manage and develop reception and first aid staff

• Train and serve as a designated First Aider

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Calm, professional and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail

• A confident communicator who can work effectively with families, staff, learners and external agencies

• Experienced in office management and administrative systems, ideally in an education setting

• Comfortable leading a team, building routines and improving processes

• Adaptable and solutions focused, with the flexibility to support a growing school where priorities evolve

Application Deadline: 9am on 1st June 2026
