Student Support Caseworker

Permanent, Term Time Only plus INSETs

16.75 hours per week

Start date: 1st September 2026

Pay Scale: Grade 8 £32,597 - £35,412 per annum FTE (£12,692 - £13,788 pro rata)

Following the promotion of our current caseworker, we are looking to appoint a permanent Student Support Caseworker to join our pastoral team and act as a case worker to support and improve attendance of students who have either persistent or severe non-attendance at school due to Emotional Based School Avoidance. This is a role created in response to the growing need in society that has been well documented on the news and in our efforts to support our community further. The role has had real impact so far in providing family liaison to support families to ensure a holistic package of support to improve school attendance and to enable students who have low attendance to reintegrate back into school and succeed in their school life.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in Administration and Organisation as well as experience of working with children.
