About Overton Grange

Overton Grange School is a co-educational community of approximately 1,250 11-19 year old students. In June 2011 the School converted from being a secondary school run by the London Borough of Sutton to ‘Academy Status’ (an independent state school overseen by the Department for Education). This means we have more control over our curriculum and resources but we remain absolutely committed to high quality non-selective education for local Sutton children and to working in close partnership with secondary and primary schools and the local community.

We have a wonderful campus, with lots of outside space and state-of-the-art facilities enabling us to offer your child a first-class place to study and take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and sports. I believe it is a privilege to be given the responsibility of caring for and educating young people through this very important stage of their lives: from childhood to adulthood. It is a responsibility I take extremely seriously.
