At Parson Street Primary School, we have a new position open for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join a friendly administrative team, providing an efficient point of contact within our school office. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday, 12pm-4pm. Fixed term contract - Ending 31 August 2025
Job overview
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the reception, answering calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors and ensuring all visitors are appropriately monitored, as well as providing general clerical and administrative support and maintaining school records.
We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for the successful applicant.
Key responsibilities would be:
- To provide essential administration support for the whole campus
- To provide a point of contact for students, parents and visitors
- To deal with complex reception/visitor matters
Parson Street Primary School is located in the heart of South Bristol and serves a diverse local community.
