Office Manager
Pond Meadow School is looking to appoint an organised, proactive and experienced Office Manager to play a key role within our Business & Operations Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Pond Meadow at a time of development and growth. Working closely with the Chief Finance & Operations Officer and wider leadership team, the Office Manager will lead the effective day-to-day operation of the school office and reception function, ensuring that our administrative systems and front-of-house services are efficient, welcoming and responsive to the needs of our pupils, families, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will have day-to-day oversight of the reception and building entrance, office administration and pupil administrative processes. They will be responsible for ensuring high standards of organisation, communication, record keeping and customer service across the school office.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong organisational and administrative skills and can confidently manage competing priorities.
• Has experience of supervising or coordinating an administrative or office function.
• Is confident working with management information systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection within a school environment.
• Can provide a professional, calm and welcoming first point of contact for pupils, families, staff, professionals and visitors.
• Is able to work collaboratively across different teams while taking ownership of their own area of responsibility.
• Has excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Experience of working within a school or education setting would be advantageous, although we welcome applications from candidates with strong transferable office management experience.
