I am extremely proud to be the headteacher of a caring, nurturing and positive school. Potters Green School is a delightful school within the community of Potters Green. We are a two-form entry school, and children attend from nursery to year 6. There is also a fee paying before and after school childcare provision, which is run by the school staff for children from Reception to Year 6.  

The children are at the heart of everything we do at Potters and staff are committed to nurturing the bright futures of its pupils and supporting them to succeed and be proud of their achievements. Underpinning all that we do in school are the three core values of: Respect, Resilience and Responsibility, for pupils and adults alike.

Our teaching is underpinned by the 6 Principles of Great Teaching which guide our practice to ensure high-quality, effective and impactful learning experiences. We embed a CODE approach-fostering Challenge, Ownership, Dialogue and Engagement-into every lesson.
