An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Ratby Primary School as a Family and Attendance Support Worker on a fixed Term basis until 21st May 2027. We are looking for an experienced, proactive and committed individual to work in partnership with parents, pupils, staff and the local community. The key focus of the role will be ensuring that all children are able to thrive in their education and personal journey whilst at Ratby Primary School, enabling them to become ‘the best version of themselves’
We are looking for someone with excellent interposal skills, who is able to motivate others and has a commitment to maintain high standards of achievement for all pupils, recognising individuals whilst embracing equality and diversity.
Within this role, we are looking for someone who is familiar and confident in supporting families at all levels. The role will also have key responsibilities of attendance support, behaviour management, pupil wellbeing and safeguarding at whole school level.

The ideal candidate will:
• An NVQ 3 or equivalent experience
• Experience of working in a school environment or other educational/social care setting
• Experience of supporting and working with parents of young people
• Experience of working with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
