We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join us at Ratby Primary School. This position is to work 1:1 with a child in KS2. 

The Learning Support Assistant will mainly be required to work with an individual child with special educational needs to provide care and encouragement, supporting them to participate in planned learning activities and to support their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.

The ideal candidate for the role will be NVQ Level 2 qualified in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) with experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting. The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroom will be essential to being successful in this role. Experience working with children with short term auditory memory difficulties and moderate learning difficulties is essential.
