Welcome to Reigate School.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce the school to you on behalf of both the governors and the staff. At Reigate School we have high expectations of our students and strive to ensure that every child achieves academically, socially and personally. We will provide your child with a balanced curriculum, a happy, stimulating environment and opportunities in abundance. Children joining us will be individually supported to help them develop into confident young adults with a set of skills and abilities that enable them to make lasting friendships, appreciate diversity in others and ably compete in a global education system or work environment.

Reigate School is a rapidly expanding 11 – 16 school situated to the south of Reigate town centre. The school has an excellent reputation in the local area and has received two outstanding Ofsted reports, the last one in March 2007. Surrey County Council chose Reigate School for the ‘Surrey School of the Year Award’ for 2001-2002 from over 400 schools throughout Surrey.
Since 1998 a new technology block has been opened and extensive internal refurbishment including toilets and changing rooms has taken place. In 2001 a full size synthetic pitch was completed. A new 6 classroom Maths building, new gymnasium, toilets and extension of dining facilities were opened in September 2003. This has been followed by a new 4 classroom ICT Block which was opened the following year. In 2009 a new Food Technology Block was opened and a new changing room block was opened in September 2010.
Students transfer from a number of local primary schools with which the school has excellent links. At sixteen the majority of students transfer to one of two local colleges, Reigate Sixth Form College and East Surrey College, to continue their education. These colleges offer a wide range of academic and vocational courses. The students are well motivated towards work and visitors to the school are invariably impressed by their courteous and mature behaviour. They are aware of their environment and the school holds the Gold litter free award for the sixth time in succession.
