We are seeking to appoint a motivated and ambitious individual who will be responsible for overall attendance with the support and guidance of the Assistant Headteacher. The role will promote outstanding attendance and will work directly with all stakeholders to encourage, challenge and support improvements in attendance at an individual and whole school level.
Working Hours – 36 hours per week, over 39 weeks per annum (term time only)
The successful candidate will:
- experience of working effectively with children;
- excellent communication skills;
- a flexible and proactive approach;
- knowledge and understanding of local and national statutory and voluntary agencies;
- good written and oral communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, children and stakeholders.
- have the ability to deal with sensitive situations and confidential information.
