Loughborough C of E Primary School would like to appoint a 1:1 LSA / Keyworker to work with children with additional needs.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and committed Learning Support Assistant to work with the children in the classroom, who will make a marked contribution to our school.
You will work under the direct supervision of a teacher to provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. These will include supporting individual pupils or small groups of pupils for whole class learning activities and interventions.
To be considered for this role, you will need suitable experience working with children in a learning environment and/or a relevant NVQ qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. Experience of working with children with additional needs and or barriers to learning is also required. You will also need to have numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths.

Hours per week: 32.5 hour per week, term time only
Salary details: Grade 5 points 7 - 8 £21,192 - £21,579 FTE, Pro Rata
Actual salary £15,523 - £15,807 depending on experience
