Cleaner

(Part-Time, Permanent)

Pay Grade 2

42 weeks per year

£8365

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas. Duties include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying bins, and replenishing consumable supplies. The successful candidate will help ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for pupils, staff, and visitors while following school health and safety procedures

The successful candidate will have good attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided. The role requires reliability, good time-management skills, a positive attitude, and an understanding of the importance of safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality within a school environment.
