The schools share the same site and joined Rise Multi Academy Trust in September. The role has become available due to the retirement of the current post holder.
This is a pivotal appointment representing an excellent career development opportunity for a candidate, with existing leadership experience seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the success of our schools and will be integral to our future improvements. Since our Ofsted inspections in 2022, there has been a key change in leadership and significant support from Rise. As a result, we have seen rapid improvements at the schools, as detailed by Ofsted inspectors in June 2023, but we know we can achieve so much more.
You will lead a team of dedicated educators and embrace our vision of ‘working together for excellence’, enabling our pupils to flourish and succeed. Your passion for education and school improvement will ensure the schools go from strength to strength.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and effective leader, who has a proven track record of raising achievement and improving teaching and learning. As well as the day to day management of the schools, the successful candidate will be the DSL and will be expected to have a focus on developing the quality of teaching and learning at the schools, ensuring that they continue to improve.
