Learning Support Assistant

22.5 hours a week, term time only plus 5 days

Fixed-term temporary contract until July 2023. Hours of work are 8.30am-1pm Monday to Friday

Grade 5 £19,266 - £19,653 per annum (pro rata)

Actual salary £ 9979.89 - £10,180.36

We are welcoming applications for a Learning Support Assistant to work in our successful and committed school. Our lovely small school is set in beautiful rural surroundings and we currently have 44 pupils on roll.

This exciting role involves providing support for teaching and learning in accordance with school policies and procedures for children in EYFS/KS1/KS2. This will include 1 to 1 support for the needs of a child with SEND, plus providing general support for whole class learning activities, supporting individuals or small groups of pupils and assisting with resources/equipment.

A passion for working with children with additional needs and disabilities is essential for this role, as is experience in supporting children with special educational needs and a NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.
