Full time, 33 hours per week. Term time only. Permanent.
Grade 6, Point 9 – 10
£21,972 (£11.38 per hour) to £22,364 (£11.59 per hour) pro rata per annum.
Actual salary £16,265 to £16,555.
Applications are invited for the post of Pre-School Deputy Manager at Waltham-on-the-Wolds CE Primary School with Pre-School. Main duties will be: To support with the leadership and management of the Pre-School, with a commitment to continuous improvement across the team; Under supervision, deliver and plan an appropriate play based EYFS curriculum, that enables children to make individual progress and to support other staff in doing so; To work as key worker to assigned children, writing reports and keeping clear, accurate records.
Experience of working in a Pre-School/Nursery setting is essential, with a minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification and experience of implementation of EYFS. Knowledge of child development and legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEND and safeguarding is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, have high levels of integrity and be able to be an effective leader and work as part of a team.
