Riverbridge is a three form entry school taking 3 classes per year group from Reception (aged 4-5yrs) all the way up to Year 6 (aged 10-11yrs), and also benefits from its own Nursery, taking children from aged 2yrs.
Riverbridge is set on two sites; our Nursery, Reception & Year 1 are on our Knowle Green site and Years 2 to 6 are on our Park Avenue site. Whilst each site is self-contained with their own playgrounds, lunch halls and offices, the sites are easily accessed via a pedestrian path that leads from Park Avenue to Burges Way.
We aim above all to provide a safe, caring environment in which all our children thrive and develop a passion for learning that will continue throughout their lives. Our team of staff are truly committed to the wellbeing of the children and we believe that all children treated with respect will learn to respect others. A challenging curriculum, designed to stimulate and engage children, will provide the opportunities for each child to succeed and achieve to the best of their ability.Staines, Greater London

In Autumn 2016 we became part of the Lumen Learning Trust which now consists of partner schools Saxon Primary in Shepperton, The Echelford Primary in Ashford, Riverbridge Primary in Staines upon Thames, Walton Oak Primary in Walton upon Thames and Ewell Grove Primary School in Epsom.
The starting point for Riverbridge's learning environment is the child and we work to 'craft' the provision around their individual needs. In this way we can be confident that we are ensuring the right opportunities are made available to enable every child to excel and genuinely achieve their full potential.
We have accredited Specialist Leaders of Education on our teaching team and our Executive Principal, Mary Ellen McCarthy carries out extensive support for school leadership teams in Surrey schools and beyond. She is also a serving Ofsted inspector.
