We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed Midday Supervisor, who is passionate about making a difference when working with children. The successful candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working with children in a large, busy Primary School.

This role is Monday to Friday 11.30am - 1.00pm.

Purpose of the role

  • set up the tables and chairs ahead of the lunch service
  • effective supervising pupils whilst eating
  • helping pupils with a variety of tasks, such as cutting up their food
  • cleaning up spillages and sickness
  • helping to clear away food and scraping plates
  • wipe and stack tables and chairs after pupils have left the dining hall
  • sweeping of floor to ensure the removal of food debris
  • tending to pupils who are sick or injured, ensuring they receive appropriate medical attention, and reporting any serious accidents
  • being aware of responsibilities under child protection legislation, and reporting concerns to a e member of SLT
  • assisting with tidying the playground after the children have returned to their classrooms

We are looking for the right candidates to join our team. In particular we require someone who:

  • has the ability to stay calm
  • has good communication skills
  • has the ability to work as part of a team

The Midday Supervisor role is term time Monday - Friday 11.30am - 1.00pm.
