We are all proud of our 'dazzling' school. Dream, Drive, Duty and Dazzle is at the heart of all we do. Situated in West Cheltenham, the school is made up of approximately 325 pupils aged 7 - 11, led by a highly effective leadership team, skilled teachers and dedicated support staff. All pupils are challenged to achieve their very best through an exciting core and foundation curriculum, equipped with the skills to be confident, independent learners.

The school was last inspected in March 2020 and was awarded the grading of ‘Good’. The inspectors reported that: ‘Pupils are proud to be part of Rowanfield Junior School. They throw themselves into everything on offer. Pupils behave well, and they have positive attitudes in class.’ This report provided the recognition of highly effective teaching learning, with an excellent track record of continuous school development. Designated as a National Support School, we are able to use this expertise to support other schools through partnerships.

We are proud to be part of a multi-academy trust, Gloucestershire Learning Alliance, working in partnership with Rowanfield Infant School, Bishop's Cleeve Primary Academy, Badsey First School, Longford Park Primary Academy, Tredington Primary School and Springbank Primary Academy. This provides unique staff development opportunities, streamlined management systems and a chance for three like-minded schools to work hard to develop a better future for our young people.
