Rowanfield Infant School is part of the Gloucestershire Learning Alliance, a Multi-Academy Trust made up of 6 schools; 5 of which are in Gloucestershire and one in Worcestershire. 

Our mission is for our children to be secure on the basic skills in English and Mathematics understanding how to learn, think creatively, take risks and manage change.

We provide opportunities for our children to be active and curious: creating their own hypotheses, asking their own questions, supporting and coaching one another, setting goals for themselves, understanding their progress and experimenting with ideas for taking risks. 

Our children are active listeners who are able to express their opinions carefully and confidently, respecting the views of others. Our children understand the value of working both independently and collaboratively; they are able to negotiate appropriately and demonstrate effective peer-to-peer support using their UNITED learning skills. 

Our 3 form entry Infant School benefits from the space and resources of a large school, while still retaining a lovely, family feel. As a result, our children feel nurtured, safe, happy and eager to learn.
