We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Practitioner with Level 3 to join our team within our Early Years provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to work within an outstanding school and forward-thinking Trust, contributing to the continued development of high-quality practice across the EYFS.

Working closely with class teachers and the wider Early Years team, the successful candidate will support children’s learning and development through nurturing care, high-quality interactions, and engaging provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

This position is working Monday to Friday, 30.83 hours a week across 38 weeks a year (term time only)

The Raleigh School, a member of the South Farnham Educational Trust, is a friendly, popular two form entry primary school located in the village of West Horsley. The school consistently secures strong pupil attainment and progress, including for those with special educational needs. The OFSTED report (December 2017 & March 2024) graded the School as Outstanding.

South Farnham Educational Trust is a multi-academy trust which currently consists of eleven schools. We also have an associate member of the Trust - St Mary's C of E (Aided) Infant School. Our thriving School Centred Initial Teacher Training establishment (SCITT) is an outstanding, innovative, well-established and highly respected provider of Primary and Secondary Initial Teacher Training. It has over 100 trainees and from September 2021 South Farnham School was awarded Teaching School Hub status.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, kind team player and would also suit a graduate (or equivalent) who may be interested in pursuing a career in teaching at a future date and would like to gain school experience. The position requires good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and support children in all areas of school life.

Please note that we may chose to interview strong candidates on receipt of their forms so early application is advised.
