Welcome to South Farnham Educational Trust which is where like-minded schools can join together to harness the richness of diverse learning communities for the benefit of all pupils. We became a Multi-Academy Trust in 2015, having been a converter Academy since 2011.
At the moment the Trust consists of seven schools (six full members and one associate member), a Teaching School Hub and thriving SCITT.
South Farnham School consisting of 837 pupils from 4 to 11 years is situated on two sites, one in Menin Way and the other in The Bourne. It is an ‘Outstanding’ school, an RSHE hub, a Teaching School Hub and the Accredited Body for the Surrey South Farnham SCITT. South Farnham is the designated Academy Sponsor.
Highfield South Farnham School, a two-form entry primary school with a Nursery, catering for children from three years. After working with the Trust it has just become an ‘Outstanding’ school with a reputation for high-quality provision following an Ofsted inspection in January 2018.
The Raleigh School, a popular two form entry primary school in the semi-rural village of West Horsley. Following an Ofsted inspection in December 2017 it has also moved to an 'Outstanding' school from the previous 'Good' judgement, it is a primary school consisting of 436 pupils from 4-11.
Wallace Fields Infant School and Nursery, a thriving two form entry small, friendly, caring infant school and Shining Stars Nursery based in Ewell recognised as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

South Farnham School Stands on an attractive 7 acre site lying, as its name suggests, South of Farnham.
It was built to a high standard in 1938 as a girls' Grammar School and has been significantly modified for younger children in recent years.
The accommodation includes 5 libraries, a music block and 4 practical rooms. There is both an assembly hall, two studios, gymnasium, cloakrooms and changing rooms. The 7 acres of play area include 3 multi-use games areas, grassed sports fields and pavilion.
South Farnham is a Primary School taking pupils in the age range 7 to 11. We currently have 578 children on roll. They come from a variety of local schools.
Parents are able to state a preference for this school for their child irrespective of where they live unless the school is oversubscribed.
Most of the children move on to Weydon Secondary School when they leave at 11 years of age, although once again parents have the right to choose any secondary school.
We maintain close contact with Weydon to preserve continuity in our children's education.
The original victorian school building dates from 1875.
Significant extensions have been added over the last 12 years including a new hall which was completed in 2014. The school currently incorporates 9 classrooms, a library, several small rooms for group work, and a large studio used for dance, drama etc. Assemblies and activities such as P.E. and music are held in the new hall, which is also used at lunchtimes. School meals are freshly cooked on the premises.
The school has extensive grounds which include a dedicated Early Years play area, a large multi-use games area, an adventure playground, a grassed playing field and a Sensory Garden. There is also a small produce garden where the children can grow vegetables. We have an outdoor heated swimming pool, which is safely fenced off beside the multi-use games area, and this is used for lessons during the summer term.
The school opened in February 2015 as part of South Farnham Educational Trust, welcoming pupils in the age range 3-11 years.
The learning environment includes a well-equipped library, a music studio including three small group learning rooms, an additional learning zone and food technology area. A multipurpose hall, used on a daily basis, offers a full range of gymnastic apparatus and performance space. The two acres of play area include grassed sports fields, EYFS playground, a netball court and purpose built outside classroom surrounded by woodland. Extensive developments to our educational provision are ongoing, including a further covered teaching area to the rear of school and a multi-use games area.
Most of the children move on to Weydon Secondary School when they leave at 11 years of age, although once again parents have the right to choose any secondary school. We maintain close contact with Weydon to preserve continuity in our children's education.

At Highfield South Farnham we aim to provide a secure, safe and happy environment where we can work together with parents to provide the best possible start for children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old.
The Nursery is housed in a large purpose built structure with a large outside area which is securely fenced. This includes a covered play zone, grassed, wooded and paved areas, together with a vegetable garden. In addition, we are proud of our soft play room where children can develop thier physical and social skills whilst learning about colours, numbers and the language related to position. Both the inside and outside areas are available to the children at all times and they choose where they would like to play.
The Raleigh School is a popular two-form entry co-educational primary academy in the semi-rural village of West Horsley, near Guildford. It is an attractive site containing a separate Wing for Reception and Year 1 and another separate wing, The Falcon Wing, for two older junior classes. We are an inclusive school and take children from 4 to 11, although we are fortunate to have a privately run Nursery on site that admits children from the age of 2 1/2. The vast majority of children move on at age 11, to the Howard of Effingham School, an outstanding academy that operates as the hub for our group of 10 schools making up the Effingham Learning Partnership, a thriving collaborative network for teaching and learning.
The accommodation includes a library, a music room, a full IT suite, two children's kitchens and various breakout rooms for small groups and music lessons. There is a large assembly hall, a pond, a tiered decking stage area, a playground with many line markings chosen by the children, a bouldering wall and a large all weather adventure playground. We have two teaching fields; one on site and another a short walk away.
