South Farnham Educational Trust is excited to be welcoming a new school into the Trust and seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within this school in the Normandy area in Surrey.

South Farnham Educational Trust is a multi-academy trust which currently consists of seven schools, Highfield South Farnham School, South Farnham School, The Raleigh School, Busbridge Infant School, Great Bookham School, Wallace Fields Infant & Nursery School & Brighton Hill Community School. We also have an associate member of the Trust - St Mary's C of E (Aided) Infant School.

Our thriving School Centred Initial Teacher Training establishment (SCITT) has over 100 trainees and from September 2021 South Farnham School was awarded Teaching School Hub status which is a fantastic accolade for both the school and Trust.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, kind team player and would also suit a graduate (or equivalent) who may be interested in pursuing a career in teaching at a future date and would like to gain school experience. The position requires good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and support children in all areas of school life. Please see the attached job description for further information on the role.

Please note that we may chose to interview strong candidates on receipt of their forms so early application is advised.

We strongly recommend a visit to find out more about this exciting opportunity. Please contact Claire Buckton to arrange a visit.
