TRAINEE TEACHER (APPRENTICE) OF CHEMISTRY OR PHYSICS
We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to train to teach Chemistry or Physics with us at Brighton Hill Community School, in partnership with South Farnham Education Trust (SFET) Teaching Hub via the apprenticeship route.
Brighton Hill Community School has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is a rapidly growing coeducational 11-16 Community School with approximately 1300 students.
Our Science faculty is a highly ambitious and well-established team comprising teachers that are passionate about their subject and driven to support every student to make success inevitable. The faculty is well led and there are several experienced mentors who have a proven track record of offering excellent developmental support to trainees, helping to facilitate the best start to their teaching career.
The successful candidate will:
Be passionate about teaching, receptive to feedback and eager to learn
Be committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our students
Be willing to make a significant contribution to the development of the Science Faculty
Have experience of working with children or in a school setting
Hold a degree in Chemistry, Physics or a related subject
