Reception Class Teaching Assistant

St. Lawrence is a one form entry primary school for children aged 4-11 years old, with a welcoming family atmosphere. We want our children to enjoy school, and be able to find out for themselves that learning is a rewarding and enjoyable experience. We equip children with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed choices about the important things in their lives. We aim to develop children’s confidence in themselves, and the ability to handle new situations and to accept the challenges of the outside world. 

St. Lawrence staff are committed to providing the best education for children within a caring environment, where every member of the school community is respected and encouraged to develop enthusiasm, perseverance and a questioning approach to learning.

We recognise that every child is different and aim to extend and support all children in reaching their potential, encouraging them to recognise their own strengths and build upon their interests.

We are a Church school with strong links to the parish church of St. Lawrence in Chobham. We encourage parents to join us for Church Services at the beginning and end of each term, as well as other occasions. We are privileged to be a village school committed to being an active part of the Chobham community.
