Children do not develop along a linear path. Nor should they.
Some find confidence early; others need time. Some discover themselves through academic success, others on a stage, a sports field or in moments no examination could measure. Great schools understand this. They do not shape children into one idea of success. They help every child discover their own.
That belief sits at the heart of St Margaret's.
We are a co-educational community where relationships matter, individuality is celebrated and children are known, challenged and encouraged to contribute. Academic success matters because it opens doors. Character matters because it shapes what young people do once those doors are open.
Walk around St Margaret's and I hope you will notice what no prospectus can fully capture: children who enjoy being here, teachers who know them well, and a community that is ambitious without losing its kindness.
I feel enormously privileged to lead St Margaret's at such an exciting point in its story. I hope you will come and visit us. Schools are about people far more than buildings or brochures, and there is simply no substitute for experiencing our community for yourself.
