St Paul’s CofE Primary School & Nursery is looking for a highly organised, positive and approachable Administration Assistant to join our busy and growing school.
St Paul’s is a rapidly developing primary school with Nursery, mainstream provision and our specialist Evergreen provision. We are looking for someone who enjoys being at the centre of school life and can provide efficient, friendly and professional administrative support to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Working closely with, and under the direction of, the School Operations Manager, the Administration Assistant will support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and wider school operations.
The role will include
• Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors and other professionals.
• Managing telephone calls, emails and day-to-day enquiries.
• Supporting pupil administration, including attendance, admissions and pupil records.
• Preparing letters, communications, forms and other school documentation.
• Supporting the organisation of trips, events, clubs and other school activities.
• Maintaining accurate records and school management systems.
• Providing general administrative support to the School Operations Manager and wider leadership team.
• Supporting the management of school meals, payments, bookings and other routine office systems.
• Assisting with school communications and ensuring information reaches families promptly and accurately.
• Supporting the administration of lettings and other income-generating activities where required.
• Providing first aid and supporting pupils where appropriately trained.
• Undertaking other reasonable administrative duties required for the effective running of the school.

Experience of working in a school office would be an advantage, although the right attitude, organisational skills and ability to learn are equally important.
