We are seeking a Class Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching while contributing positively to a school community where every child belongs.

This role would suit a teacher who understands that strong relationships underpin learning, that behaviour is communication, and that inclusive practice is essential rather than optional.

We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.

About the School

St Paul’s is expanding from an infant school to a full primary and is growing rapidly. Alongside this growth, we are deliberately protecting what matters most: our culture, our values and our commitment to children and families.

Key features of the school include:

  • A strong Christian ethos that shapes daily practice
  • A nurture-led, trauma-informed approach
  • An ASD Unit and a Nurture Hub supporting inclusion
  • Coaching-based professional development using WalkThrus
  • An experience-rich curriculum designed to build knowledge and cultural capital
  • A leadership team that prioritises staff wellbeing and professional growth

The Right Candidate Will:

  • Have high expectations for all children
  • Be committed to inclusive, adaptive teaching
  • Create calm, purposeful learning environments
  • Be reflective, open to coaching and professional dialogue
  • Value teamwork, consistency and shared responsibility
  • Be aligned with the school’s ethos and values

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged. We reserve the right to shortlist and appoint before the closing date, so early application is advised.

St Paul’s CofE Primary School & Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
