We are looking for a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) to join our team, initially until 22nd July 2026 on a fixed-term contract. - The contract will be linked to a child with an EHCP and reviewed annually alongside the child's needs.

Hours: 3 days a week 8:45 -3:15

Pay: PS3.3 

 

The successful applicant will provide 1:1 support for a child working on a bespoke early years curriculum. 

We are looking for someone who has experience of:

  • working with children or young people with special educational needs
  • working within Early Years 
  • planning and delivering learning activities 
  • helping children to regulate
  • working with young children in a school or early years setting
  • managing challenging behaviour
  • working as part of a team
  • supporting children in small groups or 1to1 both within and outside of the classroom setting
  • supervising and supporting children during break and lunchtime


St Paul's CofE Infant School & Nursery is expanding to a primary school from September 2025 with some new school buildings and facilities.
