We are looking for a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) to join our team, initially until 22nd July 2025 on a fixed-term contract. - With the possibility of extension. 

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:45 - 12:45 

Pay: PS3.3 

 

The successful applicant will work with the class teacher to provide both in and out-of-class support.

We are looking for someone who has experience of:

- working with children or young people with special educational needs

- planning and delivering learning activities 

- helping children to regulate

- working with young children in a school or early years setting

- managing challenging behaviour

- working as part of a team

- supporting children in small groups or 1to1 both within and outside of the classroom setting

- supervising and supporting children during break and lunchtime


We are looking for someone who has:

- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.

- The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.

- A can-do attitude.

- A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.

- GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above. (or equivalent)

A sense of humour is essential!
